Who We Are

The Texas Seed Trade Association (TSTA) is a trade organization that represents seed industry businesses across Texas.

Who We Serve

The association serves as the organizational framework for Texas seed growers who provide plant seeds to produce food, feed and fiber for people and animal consumption.

Our Mission

The organization's primary mission centers on supporting the seed industry's vital role in agriculture. Seeds are essential not only for farms, ranches and dairies, but also for forage and even fuels, while wildlife habitats, ecosystem restoration and soil conservation would falter without "robust, consistent seed. TSTA actively works on advocacy to ensure fair trade practices both domestic and internationally, and to continue the industry’s commitment to producing high quality seeds recognized the world over for excellence. The organization also supports education through scholarships, reflecting the association's commitment to developing future industry professionals.  Education is a high priority for the organization, reflected by programming at the annual conference and semi-monthly newsletter.
